ABSOLUTELY AMAZING WHEN VIEWING EVENTS JUST 30-DAYS AGO.
WHERE WAS THE CORONA VIRUS?
The answer is it was all but not at all, just 30-days prior!
In the last 30-days there has been a world pandemic declared, numerous events including the 2020 Olympics postponed or canceled, so many schools across the US out till at least fall. 23-States on total shutdown, the DOW down 10,000 points. What the heck is going on? Well, the answer is as simple as a bacteria and as catastrophic as a 3-day doubling of intensely sick and many who are dying – around the world!
The morbid and frankly scary answer is called COVID-19! It is a novel corona virus (meaning a new virus to mankind). There is NO VACCINE therefore NO CURE and there is NO TREATMENT either. This means that if you get COVID-19 then basically your bod is on its own to fight the virus off and here is the worst part. COVID-19 is
- at least 3 to 5 times more contagious (more likely everyone is to get it) and
- it is somewhere between 10 and 40 times more deadly than Influenza!
Currently the world “doubling rate” is at about 7-10 days (and getting faster). The USA doubling rate right now is 2-3 days! New York City has been the hardest hit location in US with about 60% of the total US cases about 10-times more than any other state; yes, New York is the current epicenter in the USA!
How about US government leadership? Trump spent February blaming the Democrats and “fake” News media for the as he called it “hoax” virus. In early March he stood before all Americans and said that COVID-19 was just a little bug that would be gone within 15-days. He said it would just disappear! That was when there were 100 cases. 11-days later there were 1,300 cases! Trump said it would be gone “very very soon” by an act of God. 14-days later (today, March 25th, 2020) there are 65,000 cases in the US and almost 500,000 cases worldwide! Trump is a bozo of magnanimous proportion but nothing new there eh?
A couple of days ago a country suggested that an old malaria helpful drug, Chloroquine might at least help with the symptoms of those already infected. This became trump’s “magic potion”, his cure-all drug that will exterminate COVID-19 very very rapidly; in an act of God.
I think NOT! Not only does the entire medical profession agree that this drug is no cure, no vaccine, and likely not going to help much if at all, at least one trumpite couple in Phoenix heard trump in News Conference and then – found some of trump’s magic potion and took it! One died that evening and the wife was hospitalized.
Now trump is telling all Americans that he plans to “open the USA back up for business” by Easter, April 12th. Really Donny? Meanwhile COVID-19 is doubling every 2-3 days in USA and every 7-days last double in the world.
Me thinks Donny has no clue whatsoever! – and that statement foretells the last 3-years as well as our future, if we continue to listen to this incompetent narcissist.
