Trump has escalated his “I AM ALL POWERFUL” trade-war with China to the next level. Amidst his willful and belligerent statements, Trump has tweeted and stated in press conference remarks:
- That US business/consumers will not pay the tariffs
- Trump tariffs will not impact the US, only China
- That Trump’s skilled negotiation-team as well as his own personal “greatest ever in history” art of the deal skill-set – will avoid having the new 25% tariffs ever even go into effect. Meanwhile –
25% TARIFFS ON $300-BILLION IN CHINESE IMPORT-GOODS WENT INTO EFFECT LAST THURSDAY (5-9-2019)!
And now, China has rebuked Trump tactics with it’s own tariffs on US goods ($60-billion worth). These (Chinese) tariffs don’t actually start for a couple weeks (June 1st) but what if any are the immediate results?
All markets (DOW, NASDAQ, S&P, etc.) down at least 2% in one day!
Further, Trump tweeted some brambly-ramble this morning about how the US would pay far less points than China. I suspect that Stevie Munchkin Mnuchin (Mnuchkin), told him that.
I wonder if Mnuchkin also told Trump to just follow the yellow brick road to the land of trump delight? I suspect Mnuchkin is somehow unaware that he has become the Trump flying monkey and his boss is the Wicked Witch of the US (re: why We are on a witch hunt).
We need go no further than North Korea, the costly Fed government shutdown started by Trump last year and ended with a push from “Nancy” and then We the People in Feb, 2019. Or review of Trump’s own business failures even within the last 5-years let alone the last 20-years. Three bankruptcies, plethora of defaults and consumer scams, most lies of all time, stiffing his contractors, and what appears morally inept dealings with our worst enemies so that Trump could personally profit!
How much more do We the People need see and hear of this buffoon incompetent potus – before we write him off. We the People must impeach Trump come Nov 2020!
