Here is a splendid example of just how ass-backwards some conservative leaders in this country truly are (as if we don’t have a plethora). These Floridians have paid for the crime committed (served their sentence), turned their lives around, and want to again participate by voting. Yet this governor of Florida requires that each ask him personally and he gets to grant or not, without any due process. Gov Scott asks them if they are “good church going persons” (WHAT??). Why should “go to church” be a requirement or even a question for a fully rehabilitated person to be able to vote or not? Oh yeah, we are talking conservative politicians.
Are there any conservative politicians that have not gone totally off the rails?
