I want my Presidents to make adjustments in their strategy whether a campaign promise or not; even a plan that no longer applies to circumstances – adapt. This is a critical part of leading, whether in business or governing; however, that is not what the current Potus is doing – or saying. Trump is not telling us that he is seeing a changing world landscape and adjusting to it.
Donald Trump is telling us over and over “who knew”!! He is telling that now, talking with world leaders that he did not know or did not understand what was going on. At minimum, that is telling of an ignorant man who cannot or perhaps, refuses, to learn. Why do I draw that conclusion?? Because the truth was all around him, practically yelling in his face. The more likely scenario was that his is the rhetoric and even actions of a populist; much more dangerous. This means that he knew and intentionally propagated lies, fake news, for personal gain – for the personal win, at any cost!!
Well EVERYONE ELSE DID KNOW!! We all knew what the course was, be it liberal progressive peace wishers, conservative isolationists, even conservative warmongers. WE ALL KNEW THE WORLD WE SEE AND HEAR ABOUT. We have different approaches but we do not change on a dime, reverse course, just to get some extra applause.
What happened to TRUMP?? He had the greater view, the advisers, the political and intelligence inside scoop even. Yet the Potus Trump, continued to slant and to lie to us and even to his own base, after the election, even after becoming Potus.

Trump’s Fans Long for an Alpha-Male Leader
The answer is Trump is 1. an alpha male extreme, set in his ways, who believes his way is always right, period. 2. Trump is a populist and a slick salesman. The world situation is defined to lord Trump by whether he thinks it will be more popular for him. He is driven by his own bully tactics unto the win, at all costs. This is the same Trump who has been flailing – and failing, in his bully-tactic-style business dealings and now in his world and domestic dealings, our dealings!!
No, I do not see Trump as changing his strategy because the world has changed. He is changing because Trump belligerently and for personal, political gain, embraced false facts he knew to be false and propagated them to his base, to win. Now he is in a pretty pickle because the truth of our world has not changed and he must – adapt, flip-flop, admit either treason or belligerence (or perhaps, will end up both), just to maintain.
Trump propagated total false against the man, Obama, who knew and acted according to the truth he knew and Obama’s desire to work for higher peace, slow but solid progress, and a better we the people. Trump embraced total false, fake, to win. No other reason.
Trump is not growing, he is groaning in the face of backfires from his own self-serving arrogance. The need to get his gun off at the expense of we all the people.
