For the next 4-years, barring a miracle from the Jill Stein recount effort, Donald Trump, otherwise regarded as lord Zod, will be our President. Along with Zod, will be what is shaping up to be his Billionaire laden cabinet, his numerous and ongoing conflicts of interest, and his plethora of constant, blatant, lies. It is becoming apparent that Trump’s interest in being President is mostly about what’s best for Trump, not we the people and CERTAINLY, not we the majority. Trump is laying the foundation for a plutocratic form of limited Democracy and it is now in plain view.
In the meantime, the majority who voted for the proper and qualified candidate, must weather the thunderstorm called lord Zod Trump presidency, somehow. We must hope that there is a we the people, 4 years from now!!
Once again, we the people voted and by a majority, this time by almost 3-million votes, we the majority voted for one presidential candidate. Because of our antiquated electoral system, WE GOT THE OTHER CANDIDATE!!
The solution to this problem is not a revolt nor an exception to our laws. It is a continued push towards gaining the 105 additional State electoral vote authorizations (165 electoral votes worth of States have already enacted law to remove the electoral system). This is needed in order to officially remove the electoral vote system and go with straight popular vote.
It takes a total of 270 electoral votes of the States, each enacted into that States law, in order to remove our existing dysfunctional system. Then we can begin to choose our President based on the vote of we the people, not the distorted mirror vote of we the land or of we the GOP scheme (see Operation RedMap).
